Wembley Downs Primary School is an independent school for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 living within our local intake area. All out of area applications will be considered by the Principal.

Kindergarten 2027
​​
Applications for Kindergarten are now open and will close on Friday, 24 July 2026.
​
Kindergarten places are offered after Applications close, towards the end of Term 3.
​​​​

Please note that Kindergarten is not a compulsory year of schooling and places are limited. Residing within our catchment area does not guarantee a place. For further information please refer to the Kindergarten enrolment facts sheet.

We will be holding School Tours during Week 11 of this term at 10:00am on Monday, 29 June and Wednesday, 1 July 2026. Please email wembleydowns.ps@education.wa.edu.au to confirm your RSVP.

Pre-Primary 2027
​​
Applications are now open for new families wishing to attend WDPS in Pre-Primary 2027.
​​To apply for a place, please follow the Application Process below. Applications close Friday, 24 July 2026.

If your child already attends Kindergarten at WDPS and would like to continue in Pre-Primary 2027, please refer to the Compass News Feed.

To apply for Kindergarten to Year 6 at Wembley Downs Primary in 2026, please follow the process below.

Application Process
​​​​
​
Step 1 - Submit an Application for Enrolment​​​
​​​​
Evidence of your child’s age and residential status is needed when making an Application to Enrol your child. This includes:
​​​
1. Birth Certificate or Passport
Contact the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages on 1300 305 021 if you don’t have a copy.
​​​
2. Family Court or any other court orders (if applicable)
​​​​
3. Proof of Residential Address x 2 (must be a utility bill eg gas, electricity, water, purchase/lease agreement)
​​​
4. Information relating to any health or medical conditions, disability or additional needs (if applicable)
​​​
5. Visa documents (if applicable).

Step 2 - Application Review
​​​
We will contact you once your Application has been reviewed by the Principal.
​
​​
Step 3 - Finalise the Enrolment
​
On acceptance, we will provide you with Enrolment Forms which will need to be completed.
​
It's at this stage you are required to provide a copy of your child’s Australian Immunisation History Statement (not more than 2 months old). To obtain a copy visit MyGov or contact the Australian Immunisation Register on 1800 653 809.

Kindergarten Enrolments will only be finalised if your child meets the Immunisation requirements.
​
