WEMBLEY DOWNS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Wembley Downs Primary School is located in an inner north-western suburb of Perth, Western Australia, 10 kilometres from the CBD and 1.4 kilometres from the coast. The school is surrounded by parks, sporting facilities and local shopping centres.

 

The name “Wembley Downs” came about as a knick-name by users of the golf course, describing it as “down’ from Wembley.
It was used by residents before becoming officially approved in 1959.
